How My1RM estimates strength
1RM formula
The MVP averages three common formulas: Epley, Brzycki, and Lombardi. The result is most useful for sets between 1 and 10 reps. Higher-rep sets are shown, but the estimate is less reliable.
Bodyweight ratios
Each estimated max is divided by bodyweight to produce a ratio. The SBD total ratio is the sum of squat, bench, and deadlift estimates divided by bodyweight.
Demo percentile model
Percentiles use an embedded demo table split by sex, age band, and lift. The table is intentionally small and transparent. A production ranking version should replace it with a documented snapshot of a public competition dataset such as OpenPowerlifting, with clear filtering for raw/equipped, age, bodyweight class, country, and lift rules.
Location
Cloudflare location metadata can provide a coarse label like city and country. It is not precise enough to claim a true neighborhood rank, so the MVP does not display local placings.
